Coconut Oil Touted as Alzheimer’s Remedy
By Joan McDaniel September 25, 2012
I want to thank a fellow blogger Tmm for finding this Video for me. You can read this woman’s story in the following links and also Dr. Fife wrote a whole book about it.
“Stop Alzheimer’s Now!” “How to Prevent and Reverse Dementia, Parkinson’s, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, and Other Neurodegenerative Disorders.” It was this book, I read to get my basic knowledge on nutrition. Dr. Russell L. Blaylock, M.D. a man I have learned to trust with everything he says wrote an excellent introduction to the book. I consider this book one of the best introductions and texts on nutrition. It does not read like a text, but you do have to take it slow. It has sold 35 + million.
Dr. Fife’s book also covers the benefits of Coconut Oil on all disease including ”neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, (ALS) amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, (MS) multiple sclerosis, Huntington’s disease, epilepsy, diabetes, stroke, and various forms of dementia.”
Now to Dr. Mary Newport, MD, Director of the neonatology unit at Spring Hill Regional Hospital in Spring Hill, Florida and her husband Steve. Steve, age 58, has had progressive dementia for at least 5 years. As the story is told in the video and story below, he had scored very low on the MMSE test (Mini Mental State Exam) a questionnaire to screen for cognitive impairment and what is called the “clock test”. Where the doctor had Steve draw the face of a clock from memory.
This is the results of each test after several months and consumption of coconut oil. Note the remarkable improvement. Now – on with the Video. Thanks again Tmm.
Researchers say the key tones found in coconut oil have slowed the progression of Alzheimer’s disease in some people and may actually prevent it. Download Information
